As a Data Engineering Team Lead, you will:
- Design and implement observability solutions for monitoring, overseeing and investigating the security and health of the company’s products and infrastructure.
- Architect, build and maintain data platform and pipeline tools for ingestion, streaming, transformation and storage.
- Partner with security, platform and engineering teams to investigate incidents, support OPSEC research and produce forensic-ready data analysis.
- Develop interactive dashboards, automated reporting and alerting workflows that translate complex production data into actionable insights.
- Drive strategic improvements in how data shapes OPSEC policies, research, incident response and cross-team risk mitigation efforts.
If you have:
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience leading a technical team.
- Proven experience designing and operating enterprise-scale data platforms/lakes/warehouses.
- Deep familiarity with big data ecosystems and monitoring/log analysis tools used for security telemetry, distributed tracing, and incident response.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with high level proficiency in one or more programing languages (Python, Java, Go, Rust, etc.).
- Proficiency in system design, development tools and best practices for building scalable and maintainable solutions.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience applying AI to observability or security workflows (e.g., LLM-powered agents, MCP server architecture, anomaly detection or automated log parsing).
- Production experience with Elasticsearch and Splunk for log aggregation, full-text search and security analytics.
- Background working directly with cybersecurity data sources.
